Bī Thá̌fōmp̪f̄ Ni̋ēkēä was founded durring the late 10th century, by Da̋chīs Jó̄̋ 'Mystioned Riley' Góch Mpfé Ermp̪f̄ Yärmboīy Cúrmp̪f̄. The establishment of Bī Thá̌fōmp̪f̄ Ni̋ēkēä was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Bī Thá̌fōmp̪f̄ Ni̋ēkēä's construction back out of the project. Da̋chīs Jó̄̋ 'Mystioned Riley' Góch Mpfé Ermp̪f̄ Yärmboīy Cúrmp̪f̄ pushed on reguardles, and Bī Thá̌fōmp̪f̄ Ni̋ēkēä was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Bī Thá̌fōmp̪f̄ Ni̋ēkēä was built using the conventions of Goblin durring the late 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Bī Thá̌fōmp̪f̄ Ni̋ēkēä is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Bī Thá̌fōmp̪f̄ Ni̋ēkēä is buildings are arranged arround a single broad baked earthen mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the city a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The city emploies a series of defencive earthworks and fences to provide minimal protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. Bī Thá̌fōmp̪f̄ Ni̋ēkēä's somewhat suffishent are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

Bī Thá̌fōmp̪f̄ Ni̋ēkēä has the unmistakable air of a city on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Bī Thá̌fōmp̪f̄ Ni̋ēkēä ’s existence has dried up and the city is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. The people are clearly worried about something, and everyone is either wearing a weapon or has one close at hand. Your gut tells you it’s not mere fate which has caused this town to begin failing...

Cultural Notes

There’s a relatively new religion in Bī Thá̌fōmp̪f̄ Ni̋ēkēä which is rapidly gaining power. It might be a sectarian offshoot of a major faith, the unique product of a new prophet, or an outside faith backed by wealthy and powerful foreign supporters. Depending on the demands made on believers, the new faith may be a matter of concern only to the existing clergy, or it might be a major flashpoint for conflict in the community.

Bī Thá̌fōmp̪f̄ Ni̋ēkēä's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known primarily for its use of abstraction and simplicity. Clean lines, right angles, and primary colors characterized this aesthetic and art movement expressed via architecture and paintings. Its design ethos allows only primary colors and non-colors, only squares and rectangles, only straight and horizontal or vertical lines. Vertical and horizontal lines are positioned in layers or planes that do not intersect, thereby allowing each element to exist independently and unobstructed by other elements. These seemingly impossible principals for an architectural style coalesces into structures which most experts find hard to put into words. It is not that their geometry is impossible, but rather the style's attempt at producing works only describable visually was most successful..
